How to Play Craps

Craps is an awesome online casino game that is thrilling and exciting too. Many players find the game scary to some extent, primarily, because of loud nature of the players and actions of the game are fast too. There are around 40 bets in the craps, but to begin, it is essential that you concentrate on passline bet.  On the flip side, a craps table can get pretty wild when everybody out there is winning. The craps table is all the world full of numbers and phrases, besides, packed with over 20 odd players and 4 staff members. Here are six steps that let’s you enjoy the full adventure of the game and how to play craps.

  1. Dice Rolling – Dice Rolling is the very basic essence of craps casino game. The palyer who is aware of the tactics of the casino game is the one who has the control over the dice. The game begins with the selection of the shooter. After this, it is the turn of the player to throw the dice. Stickman, who is a casino staff guy will give the next player in the round, four or more dices to throw and take the chance. The player takes two of the dices to throw, while the rest are taken back by the stickman. It is necessary to throw the dice with one hand in order to avoid any cheating. There is a technique of dice rolling. The dices should be thrown in such a manner that they cross the table, hit the wall and then roll off the wall. In an event when the dice is off the table or doesn’t go far, then the palyer needs to roll the dice again. Therefore, it is important for the player to toss the dice, instead of rolling them in the usual manner as you do in the board game.
  2. Placing the Bet, prior to come out roll – There is a button or  buck or puck, with OFF written on it, and this means that there is no point. The real game begins, with the shooter placing "pass line" bet. Other players can also place the “pass line” bet. Whenever the shooter rolls the dice at first time at any turn, it is the “come-out” roll. On the “come-out” roll, if the shooter rolls 7 or 11, the pass line bet will win money. If the “come-out” roll  is 2, 3, or 12, it is called craps, where every player loses money.
  3.  Playing the point – If on rolling, a shooter gets 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, then all the pas line bets remain unchanged. The dealer will place the buck on any of points 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10. Say for example the dealer places the buck on 8, and the shooter tries to roll the point 8, before rolling 7. If the shooter rolls 8, then every player who had placed a pass line bet will win even money. On this, the shooter now begins with the new come out roll.
  4. Next Try Placing odds bet, after the shooter has a point. The odds bet is true odds, differing from one another only on the point. For example if the point is 4 there are 3 ways of dice that will make to point, and likewise there will be 5 ways that will hit the point 8.
  5. Placing a "come bet" in addition to pass line bet is quite easy. All you have to do is to put the bet on the “Come” space, and the next roll that shooter throws, becomes your come out roll.
  6. It is important to play safe. You have plecty of chances to roll either on single numbers or rolls, or can even bet over more difficult propostions. Therefore, to begin with, you need to be artful playing with single numbers, and moving gradually to more complex bets.

These steps will help you to play the craps casino with all the fun and adventure. I recommend you to read my other article about how to win at craps. Also, please do not play the game before you learned the rules. This will only make you lose your money.
